This is the source of the wiki page Template:Hpar.

THE paragraph source mark of a HEADING line (binding contract §2.2, 2026-09-26). A heading is a printed line like any other: it carries a paragraph id, boxed on its ink in the figures sidecar, so a reader can match the heading with the page. {{par}} cannot ride inside a wiki heading: its link text (a zero-width space) would become part of the heading's text — its table-of-contents entry and its section anchor (the lesson of the bare {{fn ref}} cue on headings). So a heading line's mark is this EMPTY element: no text, the heading reads, links and anchors exactly as before.

  • ADDRESS, for machines — the id is printed AT the heading it names
 (data-par, the key the click-to-source gadget uses; the same
 element id makes ``Document:<path>#<id>`` deep-link to it).
 (.ed-hpar::after) and the gadget makes it a click to the peek
 card; Bot:Evidence?t=<id> opens the PDF with the heading's
 region boxed.

Usage (machine-authored, never hand-write these):

 == Title ==

The renderer (``tools/doc_archive/output/original_page.py``, ``_par_marks``) writes {{hpar}} on a heading line and {{par}} everywhere else; the deriver reads both back to the Original .md's ``<par id="…"/>``.
