The hidden OUTLINE LEVEL of a heading deeper than H6. A transcript's headings use H2–H6; a heading deeper than that prints as a bold line exactly as on the page (the user's rule Q1, 2026-09-26 — squeezing it into H6 would show it as a sibling of its parent). Its true level rides in this EMPTY element after the bold line: no text, no table-of-contents entry, nothing on screen — a machine reading the page (a deeper table of contents, an article) still knows the line is, say, a 7th-level heading under the H6 above it.
data-level— the outline level (7, 8, …).
Usage (machine-authored by the heading stage, never hand-write these):
'''Urba360'''{{hl|7}}{{par|1ugrfv-x7k2}}
The renderer (``tools/doc_archive/output/original_page.py``) writes {{hl}} for the Original .md's ``<hl d="7"/>``; the deriver reads it back (design ``tools/doc_archive/design/heading_levels.md`` §8.20).
